Schools and College Initiatives

Ezhilagam works with Bishop Heber College in Tiruchirappalli, one of the renowned colleges in South India, and supports them in adopting a village programme. Ezhilagam supports the assessment of the health and social care needs of the village and helps in linking government support to those who are in need. Ezhilagam and its multidisciplinary mental health team, including nurses, social workers, and doctors, carry out the field work and provide counselling and treatment to those who suffer from mental health problems. Ezhilagam has offered financial support to a number of students who struggle to pay their school or college fees due to their family's economic situation.
